Ferruccio Cumer is a co-founder of ZeLIG and president of the cooperative since 1990. He has held courses on the history of cinema at ZeLIG and other institutions, and has been a member of the Radio-Television Services Committee for the Autonomous Province of Bolzano. For many years he directed Cineforum in Bolzano. He created the Cinema Library, and wrote the manual 'Cinema per la didattica' published by Junior, and co-authored, along with Federica Cumer, the five-volume series entitled 'Itinerari nel cinema'. Heidi Gronauer is director of ZeLIG since 1990 and she is responsible for the development of the various documentary related projects and productions the school realizes. Since 2004 she is Head of Project of ESoDoc – European Social Documentary. She has worked in Berlin as a journalist and cultural manager in film and theatre before embarking on projects in Italy collaborating on programming and international relations of the Filmfestival Trento Cinema International Encounters with Music for Cinema, organising cultural exchanges between Germany and Italy, like Adventure in Europe–City of Berlin, Pirati Teatrali and school theatre series in German and English language Teatrando ... in lingua straniera. Lorenzo Paccagnella is a co-founder of ZeLIG, member of the cooperative’s Board of Directors and coordinator of ZeLIG’s activities. He worked as a graphic designer and photographer in the late 1970s. In the early 1980s he co-founded the production company Prisma, where he held different positions, including director of photography, film editor, director and producer. He has made more than a hundred documentary and commercial and institutional films, many of which have been shown at film festivals and broadcasted. Currently works as a freelance business consultant, after having taught in high schools and at the University of Bolzano’s School of Professional Training for many years. Lotte Gibitz worked as a film editor at German broadcaster WDR for ten years before coming to ZeLIG in 1990 to held seminars on editing. She is responsible for the student secretariat and oversees the organisation of a host of ZeLIG activities. Since 2004 she's project assistant of the training ESoDoc - European Social Documentary. She’s been with ZeLIG since the early years. In charge of various administrative, financial and business aspects. After training in languages, he worked on various digital projects in visual communications. He came to ZeLIG in 2005 and since then has spearheaded the organisation of ZeLIG’s international initiatives. He coordinates ESoDoc – European Social Documentary, a workshop dedicated to developing documentary and crossmedia projects based on social themes. He’s also in charge of ZeLIG’s presence on social media, and other communication platforms. A passionate musician and photographer, he still dreams of becoming an astronaut. Tutor at ZeLIG’s three-year program since 2010. He has worked in both documentary and feature film productions, and has collaborated intensely with director Pietro Marcello. He engineered the live sound for the film “La Bocca del Lupo”; was assistant director for “'Il Silenzio di Pelesjan”; and was in charge of organisation for “'Bella e Perduta” – all award-winning films at top international film festivals, including Venice, Berlin, Toronto and Torino. Silvano Gazziero is an audio, video and multimedia applications expert, and has been with ZeLIG since 1998.
