The motivation of the jury says: "The journey of this film begins several years ago, when a brave young boy plans his travel to Spain. His gaze is full of hope and confidence as it brushes along the shore and looks across the sea into a supposedly better world. Today, at the age of 20, Moha lives in Sabadell, near Barcelona. But since he doesn't have a Spanish passport, his life is characterised by uncertainty. We see the young man eight years after his arrival in Europe, confronted with a reality far away from his desires. Caught between his childhood dreams and his disillusionment as a young adult, he clings to what he can. As an illegal immigrant, he lives in uncertainty every day. But despite the obstacles he faces, he maintains his strength and faith in the possibility of a better life. In a direct narrative style, we immerse ourselves in the reality of the young refugees in Spain. [...] The emphatic style, the intimate photographic approach and the authentic representation of the reality of young refugees created a deep response from the jury. [...] For this outstanding work, the Award for the Best Documentary Medium / Short goes to ¿ME ENTIENDES? by Otto Lazić-Reuschel."
