Two projects developed at ESoDoc win two important awards at IDFA 2016: “Nowhere to Hide” by Zaradasht Ahmed wins the IDFA Award for Best Feature-Length Documentary, and "La Chana" by Lucija Stojevic wins the VPRO IDFA Audience Award!
Heidi Gronauer will participate on a panel discussion at the CAPA Conference 2016 in Brisbane on the theme “Incubating Long Form at Film Schools”, and she will also join the biannual conference of the international association of filmschools CILECT on the topic "Ethics and Aesthetics".
3 films developed at ESoDoc have been selected for IDFA 2016: “Nowhere to Hide” by Zaradasht Ahmed (IDFA Competition for Feature-Length Documentary), “La Chana” by Lucija Stojevic and “The Pearl of Africa” by Jonny von Wallström (both in the Panorama section).
After an intense process of selection, 30 new students have been admitted to attend the new three years didactic cycle in documentary filmmaking 2016-2019.
On Friday, July 1, with the last day of the graduation exams, the didactic cycle 2013-2016 in documentary filmmaking arrived at the end. 29 students received their qualification in Directing/Project Development, Camera/Lights and Editing/Post-production.
