MASO #

MASO #

MASO #1 presents an opportunity for filmmakers to develop short films and short series. The program aims to support both experienced professionals and emerging talents in realizing their creative visions. In this inaugural edition, up to eight creative teams, consisting of a director/screenwriter and a producer, will be selected to participate. These teams will receive guidance from international experts throughout the development, production, and distribution phases of their projects.

MASO is inclusive, welcoming filmmakers from diverse backgrounds and experience levels. An Advisory Board composed of international short film experts will oversee the selection process.

The program operates in two stages. First, creative duos submit their short film projects. Then, selected teams will engage in workshops and mentoring sessions to bring their projects to fruition. Workshops will be held in Norway and Italy, with additional support provided for financing, distribution, and promotion strategies.

MASO is made possible through collaboration with international partners who provide grants for selected projects from their respective regions.
