Nato a Johannesburg, in Sud Africa, fonda Stefilm nel 1991, con cui sviluppa, produce e dirige documentari di creazione e serie per la TV. Ha prodotto anche 'Leonardo - l’Uomo dietro alla Sindone' con National Geographic e 'Citizen Berlusconi' con PBS in America, 'Building the Winter Games' con Discovery Channel, la co-produzione India, Italia, Danimarca e Norvegia intitolata 'Char – the No Man’s Island' (Berlinale Forum 2013), la serie 'Food Markets - In the Belly of the City' con ZDF e Arte (10 x 52’) e 'The Queen of Silence' (IDFA 2014, Silver Horn, best feature length doc Krakow FF 2015, Golden Nanook - Flahertiana IDF Perm 2015.
