Bellaria Film Festival is one of the main Italian events about documentaries. The festival hosts two competition programs and different side activities (masterclasses, exhibitions, concerts). The Casa Rossa Art Doc competition is the program for films with subjects about art and artists. The jury of the 2017 edition of the festival was: Gianfranco Pannone (filmmaker), Natalie Cristiani (editor), Alberto Lastrucci (director of the Festival dei Popoli), Marco Migani (artist), Enza Negroni (filmmaker).
